Snowy Day

We have been having a bunch of snow lately and when I posted that last picture of the snowy day I had adjusted my white balance but in this one I wanted to show a different thing I did which was just adding a hard light layer which makes the snow in the picture pop out!

Don't Freak Out...

I'm writing two posts in one day... WHAT THE?!? I just did this really cool thing on photoshop and wanted to show it off though so throw me a bone!!!  I call it mountain love with my girl haha:

Farmer Tyler

Ok so I don't live on a farm or anything like it.  However, I do live next to a hay field and as a result there are lots of equipment and stuff that is cool.  A couple pictures that stood out to me are first this one:

k so one cool thing about this was that I adjusted in photoshop the white balance of the picture so that the old tractor would jump out at you when you look at it.  Did it work?

The other picture that I really liked was this one:

This one was pretty cool, because during the summer these all turn in to big ol sunflowers but right now they are just ugly pods of death.  So here is one of them and I thought it turned out pretty cool!

Coke Can

So I took this picture of a coke can and I was playing with photoshop trying to get the shadow to disappear but it didn't work.  However I did make it a little lighter so the snow would shine through a little bit.  Well enjoy all you people out there which I'm sure is probably close to nobody!

Wife Photo Shoot

Ok so I wouldn't say that I'm a seasoned photographer or anything, but my wife asked me to take a few pics of her today as she is 24 weeks pregnant.  Here is one pic that I snapped and decided it would be fun to accent the red fire hydrant.

Inaugural Post

Well here it is the first and hopefully not the last post on this here blog. What is this blog all about? It's a journey through photography land. I do not doubt it will be littered with crashes and burns but I'm excited. To inaugurate I will be posting my first picture.... oh boy here we go.
